KRINK x Levi’s Japan - Apparel & Denim Collection | Detailed Photos

Yo! World Artist Craig “KR” Costello has been keeping a brisk pace on his itineraries in recent months. Straight after a new retrospective exhibition in Hamburg Germany’s Vicious Gallery, Costello, who also goes by the name KRINK, is gearing up for another important event - the launch of his first denim collection with Levi’s Japan. Consist of hoodies, t-shirts, raglan tee, and of course denim, each pre-treated with ample applique of Costello’s signature silver metallic paint in “drip” pattern. Some of the t-shirts also shamelessly promotes the K-60 Paint Marker, the roll-on paint applicator first devised by Costello. However, the centerpiece of the capsule collection is Levi’s 505 jean. Constructed specifically for this collaboration, the usual copper rivets were swapped out and in their places, metallic silver rivets. The same process was applied to the traditional orange stitching, now in silvery threads as well. Along the rear belt loop and waist back, the iconic silver paint runs across the denim. And finally, a special KRINK Levi’s logo is feature on the inside.

The KRINK x Levi’s Japan - Apparel & Denim Collection will go on sale in Japan only this Saturday, November 14th, at CINCH TOKYO specialty boutique along the trendy Omotesando neighborhood. For the launch, Levi’s Japan curated a special KRINK exhibition in store. Titled A Piece Of Detail, the exhibit is to include some of his most memorable installations, including the Drip Paint Mail Box and the new 8-Liter Applicator paint/ fire extinguisher. A special poster will be given out during the release event as well.
